John O'Hagan - USA
2005 World Backgammon Championship Final – Crucial Game
In this crucial game from the 2005 World Backgammon Championship final 25-points match, American backgammon master John O'Hagan leads with 14 points while his opponent Dennis Carlston of Denmark has 14 points. Those two opponents are representing two different backgammon schools: O'Hagan is a veteran gambler who has been playing backgammon since the 1970s (after being banned of casions for card counting), while the much younger Carlston is what they call a "Snowie Clone", who belongs to the generation that learned backgammon from backgammon bots.
